OVERVIEW
The SDK4 is a System Developers Kit that makes hardware and software development convenient and reliable for WinSystems' embedded PCs. It integrates three different rotational disk drives and a power supply into an enclosure.The SDK4 provides the necessary system components and cables right out-of-the-box. This integrated development environment reduces clutter and space while saving the system designer development time and money since they do not have to buy and assemble the individual pieces.
The SDK4 has 3 different disk drives. A 3.5" floppy disk drive will support both 720K and 1.44M media. The DVD drive will read CD, CDR/W, and DVD data media. Finally a 3.5-inch, 40 Gbyte (or greater) IDE hard disk drive is mounted in a removable frame. This allows a developer to keep different operating systems on different drives or perhaps transport or exchange data with another computer. A key lock prevents the drive from being removed accidentally while power is on the system.
